Pumpkin Ginger Face Mask
Pumpkins are the quintessential autumn fruit. But there’s more to pumpkins than jack-o-lanterns and pies. In fact, they’re great for skin, especially this time of year. As the season turns, skin may be drier than usual or damaged by the summer sun.
Pumpkins are a great source of both Vitamin A and carotenoids. Vitamin A, is simply retinol, which is a well known for boosting collagen production and reducing wrinkles. Carotenoids have strong antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties to help ward off skin cancer. Added to the mask is ginger, which is a good source of Vitamin C, which also helps clarify the skin and boost collagen. Finally, the lactic acid in the milk will help slough dead skin from the surface, so that you are left with soft, refreshed skin.
But most importantly, this is a great, fragrant and relaxing treatment for you to sit back and enjoy!
Pumpking Ginger Face Mask Ingredients:
